Runescape has announced the drastic changes on PvP world officially on July 15th. Players who enter a PvP world are risking losing large amount of Runescape gold worth of items! Read this update carefully and keep the changes in mind all the time ever when you step into the PvPs.
The core of the change is: on PvP Worlds, players will always be skulled and cannot use the Protect Item prayer. You will be automatically become skulled, and the skull will not disappear over time or when a player dies. But if you head to a no-PvP world, the skull will behave like normal. Players enter Bounty Hunter Worlds in which PvP combat is allowed in the Wilderness will become skulled as well.
Please pay attention, due to the change you will always lose everything you are carrying if you get killed by another player, and that there is no way for you to keep any items on death while in a PvP or Bounty World. The amount the victim must lose on members' worlds are increased from 25,000 RS coins to at least 75,000 coins' worth of items for victor's earning potential to be applied to the drop. The lose amount remains at 25,000 coins on free-to-play worlds.
Please note that you will have to be in a safe area before you can next log into a PvP or Bounty World. You will need to log into a non-PvP/Bounty World in order to move to a safe area. This is to ensure nobody logs in risking more than they are aware of. A message will explain this on login if you try to enter these worlds. This only applies to your next PvP/Bounty World login; from then on, you will be able to log in as normal.
According to the Runescape member players' responds recently, some think it is a fail change while some other support it for they consider people actually risk something is great. No matter you like it or not, you'd better to earn more RS money in case you will become the victim on PvP world. Happy gaming!
