Gnome Cocktails
In order to ensure you are up to the high standards demanded to prepare these, you must complete a few tasks for Blurberry, the proprietor of the renowned Blurberry's Bar in the Grand Tree. He will give you several drink orders and provide you with the necessary ingredients to prepare the requested drinks. If you make an error and prepare a drink the wrong way, further ingredients can be purchased from Heckel Funch’s store, located just east of Blurberry's Bar. To prepare cocktails, in addition to your ingredients, there are three essential pieces of equipment (Buy RuneScape Gold to get equipment) you require. These are a cocktail shaker, an empty cocktail glass and a knife.
All of these can be purchased from Heckel Funch, or obtained from respawns. There are two cocktail glass respawns – one by Heckel Funch and the other by the range just south of Blurberry's Bar. The cocktail shaker respawn is north of Gianne’s restaurant, on the table between the Gnome cookers. If you search the kitchen cabinet located north of the table, you will find a knife (as well as gnome baking tins).
Now that you have the necessary equipment, (need equipment? Come rsfirm.com to get RuneScape Gold) it’s time to get slicing, dicing, stirring and shaking. The table below shows the ingredients required and how they need to be prepared in order to mix the cocktails. Also shown are the cooking level (RuneScape Power Level) you need to prepare the cocktail, the experience points you gain for making it and each cocktail's effect on humans.
To prepare the cocktail, simply click on the cocktail shaker. An interface, like the one shown below, will pop up. If you have the initial ingredients in your inventory to make a particular cocktail, it will light up. If you hover your mouse over a cocktail, you will see in the small window how many of each of the necessary ingredients you are carrying.
If a cocktail is greyed out, it means you are missing some vital ingredients. If you hover your mouse over it, the ingredients you have will be lit up in the inner window, and the ones you are missing will be greyed out.
Once you have the necessary initial ingredients, simply click on the desired cocktail and it will automatically be mixed and shaken.
You will then get a message window telling you what steps are needed to complete the cocktail. If you fail to make a note of all of them, or if you make a mistake in the preparation – slicing instead of dicing for example – clicking on the cocktail shaker again will cause a message to appear in your dialogue box, reminding you of what needs to be done.
If you have the finishing ingredients already prepared in your inventory, and an empty cocktail glass, clicking on the cocktail shaker again will automatically pour the mix into the glass and add the finishing touches.
For the Drunk Dragon and Chocolate Saturday you will also need to briefly warm your cocktail on a range, or the Gnome cooker, to finish it off.
