Money Making
Never let your RuneScape gold run low. These are basic tricks to help you make some fortune. Focus on your wood cutting skill. You can't do much with the wood except burn it or sell it. A better way is to sell them. You can make a lot of money compared to burning it, which doesn't really do anything. If you master woodcutting and you get up to 60, you can cut yew trees which can sell for 300-350 coins each.
Go fishing and mining will bring you a good amount of RS gold too. Fishing will get you food for combat and some extra cash to get some cool things. When fishing, I would recommend that you raise your cooking. You do burn things sometimes, but when you successfully cook something, it adds experience. Experience will add up and eventually level up. The higher any of your levels, the faster or better you will do in those specific skills. For example, if you got your fishing level up to 10, fishing shrimp would be much faster than if you had a fishing level of 1. That is how the level system works. Mining can make money, but so many people do it that it may not be as fun. If you mine slow, lots of people with very good picks will get the ore faster than you. The better the pick you have, the faster you get ore. When you are able to mine iron ore, you can sell the ore for 100 coins each.
Combat
Combat is probably the biggest and most widely trained of all the skills in RuneScape, it plays an important role in RuneScape. Without combat, how else would you be able to slay dragons, if you didn't know how to fight? Make yourself survival, there’s something you have to know.
You can kill monsters and zombies and so many other things in RuneScape. They will drop objects and money, and most of them drop bones. When you bury bones, your prayer level goes up and you then have higher prayer points. Prayer points can help a lot when you're in combat. Some raise your levels by 5%, 10% and even 15%. The higher the percentage goes, the more prayer points required. When you kill monsters, your strength, attack, hit points, and defense will go up. Whenever you switch your attack style, you switch which skill you are training out of the 4 different combat levels. You can increase your magic level, which requires expensive runes and you can also train range, which requires a bow and arrows. Always keep an eye on your hit points, the higher they are, the more life you have. But if you keep losing them, when your hit points reach 0, you are a dead man.
