You've not been to the Gnome Stronghold or Gunnjorn's barbarian course for some time, since you feel there's nothing fresh to learn. But challenge yourself this week. These Agility trainers have spent long hours constructing new routes around the courses that only the most agile players should attempt. Don't lose the chance to show off your most agile moves. Plus, these extended courses will also reward you with weight-reducing clothing, should you complete enough laps. The cave goblins of Dorgesh-Kaan have made some changes to their Agility course, with the addition of these extended courses. They've decided to make the course a little less unforgiving, so you should find that you fail less often. The other main change is that the entry requirement for the existing course has been increased from 70 Agility to 80 Agility, while the two extended courses have entry requirements of 85 and 90 Agility, respectively.

Let's review Gnome Stronghold and Gunnjorn's barbarian course before you have the Runescape Extended Agility courses. The Gnome Stronghold agility course (labelled Agility Training Area on the world map) is a low-level Agility training area and is the first place for members to train at level 1 Agility. It is located south-east of the Grand Tree in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, north-west of East Ardougne. There are many gnomes around the course that shout insults at you. The Barbarian Outpost is a fenced stronghold which comprises two sections. The first, "outer" section requires the completion of the Bar Crawl miniquest. It houses nine Barbarians, good for low-level training and Clue Scroll drops, and several chickens. Being able to get into this section is a requirement of the Scorpion Catcher quest. The second, "inner" section may be accessed by climbing through a pipe requiring level 35 agility, found in the first section. This second section is an agility course with a 153 XP yield per lap. This section also plays a role in the Horror from the Deep quest.
