After you finish this quest, you will gain rewards, such as RuneScape gold, a Gnome Defense Amulet, The ability to use the Spirit Trees to be teleported around RuneScape, (Note: You can't use the Gnome Stronghold Spirit Tree until you've completed the Grand Tree Quest), 11,450 Attack experience and 2 Quest Points.
Getting Started of Tree Gnome Village
Firstly, head to the Tree Gnome Maze located southwest of Ardougne and enter through the northwest opening. Make your way through the maze until you reach the loose fence, which you can climb through to enter the village.
Speak to King Bolren to the northeast and he will tell you that you need to get a Protection Orb that has been stolen by the Khazard Troops. A Gnome will teleport you out of the village.
The Gnome Trackers
Now go and speak with Commander Montai who can be found in the battlefield just north of the village. He will ask you to get 6 sets of regular Logs to build the Battlements up. Once you have the logs, give them to him so that he can build them up. When you talk to him again, he will tell you to find the 3 Gnome Trackers.
The first Gnome Tracker is west of the jail, and behind the building with cannons inside. He will tell you the Height Coordinate.
The second Gnome Tracker can be found in the Jail a short distance to the east of the first tracker. He will tell the X-Coordinate.
The final Gnome Tracker is just south of the first one. He wants you to guess the coordinate, which is random for everyone. Just take a guess!
Head back to the Gnome side of the battlefield and then "Fire" the Ballista using the coordinates that you received from the Trackers.
The Protection Orb
No matter how hard quest, if you do as quest guide, it will become to complete and get RuneScape money easily. Now go to the fort in the northwest part of the battlefield. Climb over the rubble to get inside the building, and a level 48 Khazard Commander will attack you. Once you kill him, go upstairs and you'll be attacked by another Commander. Once you've killed him as well, open the chest to the northeast, search it, and you'll find a Protection Orb!
Leave the building and head back to the maze. Get back to King Bolren by either going back through the maze yourself, or speak to Elkoy at the entrance of the maze to be led through. King Bolren will tell you that the Power Orbs have now been stolen by a Khazard Warlord. You'll then be led out of the maze. Be sure to bring food, weapons, armor and any potions you'll need for a fight!
The Power Orbs
Head northwest of the battlefield until you find a Khazard Trooper and a level 112 Khazard Warlord. They can be found a short distance south of the Underground Pass. Fight the Warlord using your favorite method, and once he dies you'll pick up the Power Orbs. Head back to King Bolren (you can either go back through to maze or speak to Elkoy as before) for your reward (RS gold, RS experience). Congratulations, quest complete!
